Lopez Lomong

Lopez Lomong is a South Sudanese-born American middle-distance runner and Olympian. He was one of the Lost Boys of Sudan and became a U.S. citizen in 2007. Lomong competed in the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics and is known for his inspirational journey from a refugee camp to becoming an elite athlete.
