Haing Ngor

Haing S. Ngor was a Cambodian-American actor, author, and physician who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film 'The Killing Fields'. He was a survivor of the Khmer Rouge regime and used his platform to raise awareness about the atrocities committed in Cambodia.
