Max Aub

Max Aub was a Spanish-Mexican writer and playwright known for his works that explore themes of exile, identity, and the Spanish Civil War. Born in Paris to a German father and a French mother, he moved to Spain in 1914. After the Spanish Civil War, he was exiled to Mexico, where he continued his prolific writing career.
