Joseph Weizenbaum
Joseph Weizenbaum was a German-American computer scientist and a professor at MIT. He is best known for creating the ELIZA program, one of the first examples of natural language processing in computers. Weizenbaum was a prominent critic of artificial intelligence and its implications for society.
