Nurit Peled-Elhanan

Nurit Peled-Elhanan is an Israeli scholar and peace activist known for her work on the portrayal of Palestinians in Israeli educational materials. She is a professor of language and education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a prominent critic of Israeli policies towards Palestinians. Peled-Elhanan is also a co-recipient of the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, awarded by the European Parliament.
