Agatha Christie

Agatha Christie was an English writer known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those revolving around her fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. She is one of the best-selling authors of all time, with her works selling over a billion copies in English and another billion in translation. Christie's plays include the long-running 'The Mousetrap', and she also wrote the world's longest-running play. Her works have been adapted for television, radio, video games, and graphic novels. In 1971, she was made a Dame for her contributions to literature.
