von Braun, Wernher

Wernher von Braun was a German-American aerospace engineer and space architect. He played a key role in the development of rocket technology in Germany and later in the United States. He was instrumental in the development of the V-2 rocket during World War II and later worked for NASA, where he was a leading figure in the development of the Saturn V rocket that enabled the Apollo moon landings.
