Med Hondo
Mauritanian-born filmmaker, actor, and pioneer of African cinema, best known for Soleil Ô (1970), West Indies (1979), and Sarraounia (1986). He was also a prominent French voice actor, notably dubbing Eddie Murphy. His work explored colonialism, migration, and racism.
