Kári Gíslason

Icelandic-Australian writer and academic based in Australia. He is the author of the memoir The Promise of Iceland and the novel The Ash Burner, and co-authored the travel/history book Saga Land with broadcaster Richard Fidler. Gíslason teaches creative writing and often explores Icelandic sagas, identity, and place in his work.
