Ma Anand Sheela

Indian-born Swiss author and former spokesperson for the Rajneeshee movement, best known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh’s close aide. She was a central figure in the 1984 Rajneeshee bioterror incident in Oregon, later convicted in the U.S., and subsequently settled in Switzerland where she managed care homes and wrote memoirs.
