Francisco Rico

Spanish philologist and literary critic, renowned for his scholarship on medieval and Renaissance Spanish literature. A member of the Real Academia Española and longtime professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, he has produced influential critical editions of works such as Don Quijote and Lazarillo de Tormes.
