Khushal Khan Khattak
A 17th-century Pashtun poet, warrior, and chief of the Khattak tribe, often hailed as the Father of Pashto literature. He produced hundreds of poems and prose works on ethics, statecraft, medicine, and falconry, and led resistance against the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. He was based in Akora Khattak in present-day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
