Alexander Granach

German-Jewish stage and film actor, best known for playing Knock in Nosferatu (1922). He fled Nazi Germany, worked in the Soviet Union and later in Hollywood, and authored the memoir 'There Goes an Actor' (Da geht ein Mensch).
