Brian Uzzi

Brian Uzzi is an American sociologist and network scientist known for research on social networks, data science, creativity, and organizational performance. He is a professor at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and is affiliated with the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems. His work has examined small-world networks, high-performing teams, and how atypical combinations of ideas drive scientific innovation.
