Shimon Gibson

Shimon Gibson is a British-born Israeli archaeologist and historian specializing in the archaeology of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. He has directed major excavations, including the Mount Zion Project, and authored works such as The Cave of John the Baptist, while serving in academic roles including at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
