Herbert Benson
American cardiologist and Harvard Medical School professor who pioneered mind–body medicine, popularized the 'relaxation response,' founded the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, and authored The Relaxation Response and other related works.
