Nir Barzilai
Israeli-American gerontologist and geneticist; director of the Institute for Aging Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Known for research on genetic determinants of human longevity, founder of the Longevity Genes Project, and a leader in clinical research on interventions that target aging (including studies involving metformin).
