Richard M. Weaver

Richard M. Weaver (1910–1963) was an American scholar, revered as one of the principal architects of the intellectual movement known as Southern conservatism. He is best known for his work 'Ideas Have Consequences', published in 1948. Weaver's writings often focused on cultural criticism, rhetoric, and the role of tradition and values in society. His work has had a lasting influence on conservative thought and philosophy.
