1. The Rise Of Christian Theology And The End Of Ancient Metaphysics
This book argues that Christian theology did not simply inherit ancient metaphysics but transformed and eventually displaced it: late antique Christian thinkers reinterpreted and repurposed Greek philosophical categories in light of biblical revelation and doctrinal concerns, reshaping ideas of being, causality, personhood, and knowledge so that theological commitments about God, creation, and history became primary. Through close readings of key texts, the study shows how doctrines such as the Trinity and the Incarnation altered philosophical assumptions, producing a distinctive theological framework that ended the dominance of classical metaphysical paradigms and opened new trajectories for medieval and modern thought.
