Herbert Kubly

Herbert Kubly (1915–1996) was an American playwright and author. He began his career as a theater critic before turning to writing. Kubly won the National Book Award for Nonfiction for his memoir 'American in Italy' in 1956. His work is known for its exploration of the human condition and the cultural differences between Europe and America.
