Edwin G. Burrows

Edwin G. Burrows was an American historian and professor who co-authored the Pulitzer Prize-winning book 'Gotham: A History of New York City to 1898' with Mike Wallace. Specializing in U.S. colonial and New York City history, his work has been influential in the study of the urban development of New York. Burrows was a professor of history at Brooklyn College until his passing in 2018.
