Amos Tutola

Amos Tutuola was a Nigerian writer who became famous for his novel 'The Palm-Wine Drinkard', which was first published in 1952. He wrote his books in English, often based on Yoruba folktales. Despite his unconventional use of language, his work has been influential and is celebrated for its imaginative qualities and its insight into Yoruba culture and folklore.
