Willie Morris

Willie Morris (1934–1999) was an American writer and editor, best known for his works of Southern literature and for his role as editor of Harper's Magazine. He authored various works, including 'North Toward Home', 'My Dog Skip', and 'The Courting of Marcus Dupree'. His writings often reflect his upbringing in the state of Mississippi and explore themes of race, the South, and coming-of-age experiences.
