John Reed

John Reed was an American journalist, poet, and socialist activist, best known for his first-hand account of the Bolshevik Revolution, 'Ten Days That Shook the World'. He was born on October 22, 1887, in Portland, Oregon, and died on October 17, 1920, in Moscow, Russia. Reed's work and experiences made him an influential figure in early 20th-century journalism and politics.
