Anne Catherine Emmerich
German Roman Catholic Augustinian nun, mystic and stigmatist (1774–1824), known for her reported visions which were recorded by Clemens Brentano and published (e.g., The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ). She was beatified in 2004.
