Francis Chichester
Sir Francis Chichester was a pioneering aviator and solo sailor. He is best known for his solo circumnavigation of the globe in 1966-67, which he completed in his yacht Gipsy Moth IV. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his achievements.
