Francis la Flesche

Omaha (Native American) ethnologist and writer who documented Omaha language, songs, and traditions. He worked with the Smithsonian's Bureau of American Ethnology and collaborated with researchers such as Alice C. Fletcher; brother of Susan La Flesche Picotte and Susette La Flesche.
