Vātsyāyana

Vātsyāyana is an ancient Indian philosopher and author, best known for writing the Kama Sutra, a treatise on love, sexuality, and eroticism. Little is known about his life, and his exact dates of birth and death are not documented. The Kama Sutra is considered one of the most significant works on human sexual behavior in Sanskrit literature. Vātsyāyana's work has had a profound influence on both Eastern and Western cultures, although his personal details remain largely a mystery.
