Edgar Rice Burroughs

Edgar Rice Burroughs was an American author, best known for creating the jungle hero Tarzan and the heroic Mars adventurer John Carter, although he produced works in many genres. Born on September 1, 1875, he wrote more than 70 books during his career, becoming one of the most widely read authors of the 20th century.
