Percy Bysshe Shelley

Percy Bysshe Shelley was an English Romantic poet who is considered one of the finest lyric poets in the English language. He was born on August 4, 1792, and died at a young age on July 8, 1822. Shelley was a radical in his poetry as well as in his political and social views. Despite facing criticism during his lifetime, his works such as 'Ozymandias,' 'To a Skylark,' 'Mont Blanc,' 'Prometheus Unbound,' and 'Adonais,' an elegy written upon the death of his friend John Keats, have since become highly influential and widely studied and admired.
