Walter Mosley

Walter Mosley is an acclaimed American novelist, most known for his crime fiction. He is best known for his series of mystery novels featuring the hard-boiled detective Easy Rawlins, a black private investigator and World War II veteran living in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles. Mosley's works explore themes of race, the complexities of black life in America, and the challenges of modern society. His writing has earned him numerous awards, including an Edgar Award for best novel and the O. Henry Award for short fiction.
