Roberto Calasso

Roberto Calasso was an Italian writer and publisher. Born on May 30, 1941, in Florence, Italy, he was widely known for his extensive work in literature and his interest in mythology and the classics. Calasso was the chairman of the publishing house Adelphi Edizioni and authored several notable books, including 'The Ruin of Kasch', 'The Marriage of Cadmus and Harmony', and 'Ka'. His works often explore the interplay between myth, literature, and society. He passed away on July 28, 2021.
