Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was a prominent 19th-century American poet and educator. He is known for his lyric poetry and was one of the five Fireside Poets. Longfellow's works include 'Paul Revere's Ride,' 'The Song of Hiawatha,' and 'Evangeline.' He was also the first American to translate Dante Alighieri's 'Divine Comedy' and was one of the most popular poets of his time.
