Frederic Manning

Frederic Manning was an Australian writer and poet best known for his novel 'The Middle Parts of Fortune,' published in 1929. Born on July 22, 1882, in Sydney, Australia, he moved to England in 1903, where he mixed with literary circles and began his writing career. Manning's most famous work is based on his experiences in the British Army during World War I, and it is considered one of the most realistic and moving accounts of life in the trenches. He passed away on February 22, 1935.
