Omar El Akkad

Omar El Akkad is an author and journalist born in Cairo, Egypt, and raised in Doha, Qatar. He later moved to Canada and has worked as a reporter for the Globe and Mail. El Akkad has received numerous awards for his journalism, and his writing often explores themes such as war, refugees, and the effects of terrorism.
