Williams Sassine

Williams Sassine (1944–1997) was a Guinean author and educator known for his critical works that often challenged political oppression and corruption in post-colonial Guinea. He wrote in French and was one of the significant literary figures in West Africa. His notable works include 'Saint Monsieur Baly' and 'Le Jeune Homme de sable'.
