Amilcar Cabral

Amilcar Cabral was a Guinea-Bissauan and Cape Verdean agricultural engineer, writer, and political leader. He was the founder of the African Party for the Independence of Guinea and Cape Verde (PAIGC) and was instrumental in leading Guinea-Bissau's independence movement against Portuguese colonial rule. Cabral is considered one of Africa's foremost anti-colonial leaders.
