L. A. G. Strong

L. A. G. Strong (Leonard Alfred George Strong) was an Irish novelist, poet, and critic, born on March 8, 1896, in Plymouth, England, and raised in Ireland. He wrote numerous works across various genres, including fiction, plays, and poetry. Strong was known for his vivid storytelling and his ability to capture the essence of Irish life and landscapes in his work. He served as a director of the publisher Methuen & Co. and was also a BBC literary advisor. Strong continued to write and publish until his death on August 17, 1958.
