José Eduardo Agualusa

José Eduardo Agualusa is an Angolan novelist and journalist. Born on December 13, 1960, in Huambo, Angola, he is known for his literary works that often deal with themes of Angolan history and culture. Agualusa writes predominantly in Portuguese and has received international acclaim, including the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize in 2007 for his novel 'The Book of Chameleons.'
