Barba Ensopada De Sangue by Daniel Galera

After his father’s suicide, a solitary man with face blindness relocates to a coastal town in southern Brazil to investigate the long-ago, possibly murderous death of his grandfather. As he establishes a stark routine of ocean swims and tentative connections, he encounters local hostility, submerged family secrets, and the indifference of nature. The search becomes a meditation on identity, memory, and violence, building toward an ambiguous reckoning with the past and the limits of what can be known.
