Nails And Eyes by Yozo Fujino

A precocious young girl, reeling from her mother’s absence, becomes eerily fixated on her father’s new girlfriend, observing and subtly manipulating the adults around her as the familiar world of their apartment grows claustrophobic and strange. Through her cool, dispassionate voice, ordinary domestic details take on a sinister charge, blurring the line between innocence and malice as themes of grief, jealousy, and control build toward an unsettling reckoning.
