X Men/Fantastic Four #4 by Chip Zdarsky
In the finale, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four unite to storm Latveria and free their captured allies from Doctor Doom’s control, as Franklin Richards discovers that Doom’s promised restoration of his waning powers comes with manipulative strings and refuses it. The battle ends with Doom’s plans thwarted and the prisoners liberated, but lingering tensions flare when it’s revealed that Xavier erased Reed Richards’ knowledge of technology that could hide mutant signatures. In the aftermath, a wary truce emerges: Franklin chooses to return home with his family while keeping the door to Krakoa open, and both sides agree—uneasily—to coexist moving forward.
