Asterix In Britain by Rene Goscinny
Two resourceful Gauls cross the Channel to help a lonely British village holding out against Rome, bringing their druid’s secret boost and a lot of cleverness. They outsmart Roman legions, survive mishaps at sea and on land, and encounter amusing British customs and stereotypes along the way. The story mixes slapstick action, witty wordplay and warm camaraderie as the visitors and villagers join forces to resist the occupiers.
