Sefer Yetzirah by Anonymous

An early Jewish mystical treatise that describes a cosmology in which the universe is fashioned through ten primordial principles and the twenty-two Hebrew letters, explaining how their combinations, permutations and vocalizations effect creation and sustain reality. Compact and often cryptic, it links letters, numbers, the zodiac and parts of the human body into a symbolic system and prescribes contemplative and meditative techniques for spiritual insight, and has been highly influential for later Kabbalistic interpretation.
