Set in the marshlands of the Camargue, a young boy forms a deep bond with a wild white stallion and, through patience and courage, wins its trust; together they confront the brutal world of horse-catchers and the pressure to domesticate the animal, and when faced with the loss of the horse’s freedom the boy makes a desperate, decisive choice to preserve its wild spirit.
