A Dictionary Of Emotions In A Time Of War by John Freedman
An anthology of visceral works written during the Russian invasion of Ukraine by the 20 playwrights of the Theater of Playwrights in Kyiv. The title comes from Olena Astaseva's short text, which was performed more than 50 times in 11 countries within nine months of its translation. The collection also includes internationally staged pieces such as Liudmyla Tymoshenko's My Tara, Iryna Harets' Planting an Apple Tree, and Natalka Vorozhbyt's Three Rendezvous.
