The Black Castle by Les Daniels
The Black Castle is set in Spain in 1496 during the Inquisition. It follows a battle between brothers: Sebastián, a vampire viewed as evil, and Diego, an Inquisitor and man of God. Sebastián does what he must to survive while Diego inflicts pain for the power and pleasure it brings. Their struggle raises the question of which is the greater evil and who will win the soul and body of Margarita de Mendoza, a witch.
