Till Damaskus ; Ett Drömspel by August Strindberg

A pair of expressionistic plays that follow dreamlike, often hallucinatory journeys through guilt, memory and human suffering: one tracks a tormented seeker as he moves through surreal encounters, shifting identities and moral confrontations in search of redemption and meaning, the other sends a divine daughter into everyday life to witness and expose the pain, absurdity and hypocrisies of ordinary people; together they dissolve conventional plot and stagecraft to probe consciousness, faith and the fragile boundary between dream and reality.
