Fish Is Fish by Leo Lionni

The story follows a young fish and a tadpole who are friends in a pond. As the tadpole grows into a frog and ventures onto land, he returns to share tales of the outside world with the fish. Intrigued and eager to experience it himself, the fish leaps out of the water but quickly realizes he cannot survive on land. Rescued by the frog, the fish learns to appreciate his own environment, understanding that while their worlds are different, each has its own beauty and value.
