Thumbelina by Hans Christian Andersen
The story follows a tiny girl, no bigger than a thumb, who is born from a flower. Her adventures begin when she is kidnapped by a toad who wants her to marry her son. Thumbelina escapes with the help of friendly fish and a butterfly, only to face further challenges, including a proposal from a mole. Throughout her journey, she encounters various creatures, each with their own intentions, but ultimately finds happiness and freedom when she meets a flower-fairy prince who is her size. The tale highlights themes of resilience, kindness, and the search for belonging.
